Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Akomam ("we", "us") for your use of Akomam: our websites, the Akomam studio and our mobile apps (together, "the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Akomam is not therapy or medical care
Akomam is a tool for exploring beliefs and how they fit together. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, therapist or other qualified professional. Its results are produced by software models and can be incomplete or wrong; use your own judgment about them.

Who can use Akomam
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you are under the age of majority, a parent or guardian must agree to them for you.
Your account
Access to the studio is currently by invitation. Keep your login details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account. When you sign in with Google, Google's own terms also apply to your Google account.
Your content
What you write into the Service, and the maps, summaries and designs it produces for you, are yours. You give us permission to process your content as needed to run the Service and give you your results. As our Privacy Policy explains, we may in future also use de-identified submissions to improve our models, but only after telling you and giving you a way to opt out.
Only submit content you have the right to share. Please don't submit other people's private information without their permission.
Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to break the law or to harm others. In particular, don't:
- try to get into accounts, systems or data that aren't yours, or get around our limits or security;
- overload, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or access it by automated means except as we allow;
- use it to harass, manipulate or deceive people; or
- resell or share access to the Service without our permission.
Paid plans
Some features may require a paid plan. If you buy one, we will show you the price, billing period and renewal terms before you pay, and payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time to stop the next renewal. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
Our Service
Akomam, including its software, models, design and content (other than yours), belongs to us and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use it under these terms. Akomam is early-access software: we may change, add or remove features, and we may suspend or end the Service, with notice where we reasonably can.
Ending your use
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we need to in order to protect the Service or others. The sections on your content, disclaimers, liability and governing law continue after that.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction, except where the law of your home country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post changes here and update the date above, and tell you before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply.
